After the sell-out success of debut release - ‘Waveydon Ballads’ – DJ/producer and Beeswaxx resident Inka returns - this time inviting Yogeshi and Meles Meles into the kitchen to dish out a 4-course genre spanning EP - ‘Dark Matter Dojo’.
Since their birth, Beeswaxx have always championed the integration of the differing sounds of underground bass music that inspire them. ‘Dark Matter Dojo’ epitomises this ethos - sporting a medley of dub, liquid drum and bass, hip-hop, jungle and dubstep.
Innovative samples, Japanese flutes, earth-shattering subs and melodic keys were a handful of the ingredients thrown around in the dojo to create an EP capturing the classic sounds of each genre, with a neoteric twist.
The EP showcases a combination of instrumental pressure and vocal mastery with exciting and unexpected transformations within each track keeping you on your toes – with a guest appearance from rapper/vocalist Chi Prophecy, adding more fuel to the fire.
This one is too hot not to press and will be released in Vinyl format along with all major digital streaming platforms.
